CONVALESCENCE TO TRANSCENDENCE
is an idea that has been expected to give hope and solution to recover from the oil and gas industry's current downturn. As we all know, the oil and gas industry has always been challenging and engineers have to do what they have to do which is solving the problem in order to survive. As seen from the industry, there are some aspects that need an improvement, such as social, economy, politics, education and technology.
Therefore, by holding PETROWEEK 2017, we believe in giving the answer to recover. It's a sign of optimism in the year of 2017, the year of convalescence, we could say.
Why do these aspects need an improvement? Because you can't change the world unless you change yourselves. You can't change the downturn in the industry unless you improve some. The real question is, what to improve to evolve?
